Roethlisberger Out As Tiger Woods' Masters Caddie Apr 5, 2012 Intended publicity boost for new videogame called "bad idea from the get-go"
ATHENS, GA - In a decision reached late on Wednesday night, Tiger Woods decided to abandon a move to use Ben Roethlisberger as his caddie for the first two rounds of the 2012 Masters, eTrueSports has learned. The Roethlisberger-as-caddie plan was apparently intended to provide a publicity boost for Woods' poorly received new x-rated EA golf videogame. "It was a bad idea from the get-go," said a source close to Woods who asked not to be identified because "Tiger has a really, really long memory." Reader ResponsesThe recently married Roethlisberger said he was disappointed. "Tiger even promised I could meet some of his newest girl friends if I beat up Stevie Williams," said the Steelers QB. "This really makes me question his re-commitment to personal authenticity." No responses for this article
