“Get your minds out of the gutter”

New York - Sports Illustrated angrily denied charges that by publishing the now notorious Lindsey Vonn cover the magazine was selling sex.

“Get your minds out of the gutter,” said a spokesman who refused to be identified. "What’s next, finding hidden sexual innuendo in uniform numbers?

“Look, we’ve released some of the Super Bowl cover design ideas we are considering to answer the criticism directed at us.

I defy any reasonable person – gay or straight – to find anything even remotely sexual in any of the covers. Judge for yourself."

Asked by reporters about the controversial Vonn S.I. cover, the spokesman observed that "Lindsey sure has a great ass.”
