Al Davis Might Really Be A Bad Actor

Raiders Owner Leaves Team To Join "Sons of Anarchy" Cast

Kiffin: “We Are Broken-Hearted”

Oakland, CA - Oakland Raiders President Al Davis will take a leave of absence from the team to play the patriarch in FX’s new Hell’s Angels-esque drama, “Sons of Anarchy.”

“I didn’t want to get in the way of our team's wonderful progress,” said the unassuming, low-key Davis. “Besides, this is a groovy role, it’s gonna be a gas.”

“We are broken-hearted that Al won’t be here,” commented Raider head coach Lane Kiffin, “but the chance to step out of character and play an aging crypto-fascist … gosh, how he could pass that up?”

“I’ve always been a hands-off owner,” Davis added. “As long as everybody’s happy, I’m happy.”

Defensive coordinator Rob Ryan expressed disappointment with Davis’ decision to pull away from day-to-day operations. “Who’s gonna tell me what to say now?” asked a perturbed Ryan.

Robbie may want to lighten up on the f-bombs,” chuckled Davis, while make-up artists and stylists breathlessly prepared him for his first day on the “Sons of Anarchy” set.

“More pancake baby,” joked Davis. “I’m older than dirt.”

Actually it was misspelled twice, and correctly once. Originally. Now, there are no mistakes at all. At first glance.
